Remember our Book Shoppe is open every day from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  It is in the San Carlos Marina at # 6 next to Shots.

With a huge oversupply of books you have hundreds of great ones to chose from.

The dogs and cats of our community and surrounding area are depending on all of you
to help solve the overabundance of unwanted puppies and kittens and the problems that
come with those births.

Bliss Cochran and others are doing a good job working to find good homes for those being born
or abandoned but the job is still too big.

The Micro Chip group is working to ensure lost pets get back to their owners and they are making excellent progress.  Microchipping is a sign of owners who really love their pets and never want to lose them.  This is great progress for Mexico.

The SBPA works diligently to do as many spay/neuter surgeries on every single dog and cat we can to eliminate the cause of these problems.  We are getting close to doing 3,000 surgeries this year.  Will you please help us reach our stretch goal?

Can you imagine how many dogs and cats would be running around our streets without those 3,000 spays/neuter surgeries just this?  Believe me, thousands of animals.

Please keep supporting our work.  It is a great thing for the community and for the well being of the animals.

We will never stop as long as you stand with us and support our clinics.  Remember one surgery for 250 pesos or $15 US.

Remembering in years past, before SBPA began it's spay/neuter program, the streets of San Carlos were teeming with stray dogs & cats.  This is a totally different environment today because of the action of the SBPA clinics as well as the efforts to place dogs & cats in forever homes.  Long-time residents will remember how our streets were populated with these unfortunate animals.  So much can be done, and SBPA is doing it!!!  If you wish to support these efforts, your tax-deductable donations will go a very long way to further the work.
Thank you to all the volunteers who are making a huge difference in our community!![smile]

Don't forget we will validate your parking so you get a refund of the parking fee when you leave!

Just ask the Volunteer to validate the parking receipt for you.

So come on down and have some fun at the SBPA's Altered Tails Book Shoppe every Saturday in November and December.

Tomorrow at 10 am,  go on down and fill up on bags of books and support SBPA Clinics.  Each surgery costs 250 pesos ($15 US)

US vets charge many hundreds of dollars and local vets in Sonora cost as much as $2,000 pesos.

Our Obregon Vet team brings surgical supplies and volunteer most of their time.  Our cost is so very low which is why we can do so many surgeries each year.

We wonder if we will beat last year?  We did around 2,800 free surgeries and rabies shots.

We hope we can so go on down and buy books or even just put money in the donation can, so we can make it happen.

Thank you, San Carlos!!!!  Thank you Edgar Espinoza and his Vet team, and thank our tireless clinic management team (Suzanne Pinto, John Bonhorst, Nelly Acosta, Rocio and Debbie Wild).
don't forget the tireless volunteers to make it run like a well oiled Swiss watch.

And most of all those pet owners who want to stop the madness of too many puppies and kittens with not enough good homes.

New day/New Way!
