How has this virus and the generally poor image of Mexico as a drug controlled country affected real estate prices in San carlos? I'm wondering if this might be a good time to buy? Any thoughts?

Civil war in Mexico. Mostly between cops and cartels. Very oppressive.
My buying experience not so good. Try renting first. See if you really like it here.
That's my advise.

By the looks of things being built here, not much change. I think all the houses around Marina Real where the parking lot was are sold excepting the one beside the new ramp. Many places/homes being built. A few on hold due to distancing I would guess. They said all the condos immediately East of the North East Oxxo are sold or rented. Those across the street to the West of same Oxxo are still going up quickly although looks as if distancing is going on there as well, many less workers the last couple of months. I think San Carlos is still moving forward.

Hi!
I haven't heard of any new Cartel issues.  I can tell you that I don't think I've been busier.  Sales did a drastic drop in March - April  But starting in May things started picking up and it's hard to keep up.  The inventory of Single Family homes is down.  So if you're looking to sell, please let me know. I'd love to list your house!
