A little recap of the previous months. The bonita seem to now be gone after a decent season. The water is getting pretty cool and colored. That can mean a lot of bait and fish though. I am still seeing some warm water to the south and Dorado in East Cape reports. While I think that we will see some warm days soon, I wouldn't expect to see the water warm early. White Rock up the coast has produced fairly good and consistent catches, with some large fish at times. Not many Island reports. Decent sized fish in close with a lot of good bites. The fish haven't hit the surface much at all. Jigging has worked well at times, and most of our trolled fish come off the deepest line run low with a planer . Should be a midday bite on the full moon this week. Seemed like the bait was showing up yesterday in close, so maybe the big ones will show up today. The bass spawn probably saw a temporary setback with the cold front. I am looking to go soon.

Don't forget the Yellowtail Derby and Tournament the 29th and 1st!

Tight lines,

Bryan
