I don't have an update either but I was at Marina Real yesterday when a team returned. As the team walked by I quizzed them a bit and they had not been far out due to rough water and had no fish. A few minutes later, the Mexican captain walked by and said they were going to the weigh in station at Marina San Carlos to see if anyone had fish. He said they were out in a 26/27 foot boat and fought the waves all day. Said they did not go out far and the radio offered nothing as far as fish being landed or hooked. Ron

Sounded like a 12.5# won. 8# 3rd place. It was ugly out there. A friend claimed that they cut up an 18# fish when they heard a 25# was weighed. One boat came in late loaded with winners. A few small Blues were caught. Cooler water is moving in. Some yellowtail are being caught. Decent marlin numbers in close.

A few marlin and dorado out there. A friend found one 30# dorado on a bait ball. We found one turtle dragging around a buoy and bottles (that we cut free) that had a handful of dorado. Bait is still on the other side, besides a few flying fish and a million skipjack.
