Thank you and thanks to the generous hearts of our small community that are supporting this effort.

A hand up... Not a hand out..

The hens are still in the coop.  Robert needs to make sure they're not homing chickens headed back to Empalme.

Hopefully, we'll get some up-to-date videos during this week!  Glad to see all the additional chickens!

New nests and new roosts.

Hopefully some serious egg laying incentive.  Thanks again to all who contributed.

George --- can you deliver to Tubac? The last 2 times we went to Safeway, they were out of both eggs & milk (plus lots of other empty shelves).  This is a new world!

Sas

Robert is working on it.

White ? Brown ? Same price ?

Asking you and others what you think might be a fair price for Free Range, Ranch Fresh, Organic, Non GMO and Gluten Free eggs.

Truth be known we're fishing  here. Trying to make a living here.

Please respond with a reasonable response.

George for Robert.

George, best to work out what it costs to feed and maintain the hens so you know what the actual cost is, and then look at pricing above that as you have to make a profit, otherwise why bother.  I for one would pay more for organic eggs.

Why have 5 roosters?  They don't pay their way.  One rooster can fertilize eggs, you don't need five, they will likely fight, which will be a problem.  I'd give four away if I were you, more feed for laying hens.
