Although it's not really winter yet, my MN taste buds have been craving split pea soup. Tomorrow, at the Rescate Marketplace, I will have split pea soup with barley and ham. The ham is a spiral cut one from the States and the barley is also US grade. I like to add barley because I prefer a thicker, richer soup. If you bring me a liter size plastic container with a top that fits, I'll give you a discount on the price. A liter of soup serves two easily and it is really full of ham.
I'll also be selling my quinoa bread that sold out last Saturday. Ingredients are whole wheat flour, white flour, quinoa, coconut oil, sea salt, local honey and yeast. Toast it or make sandwiches. Samples are available.
Lastly, I'm making chocolate chip cookies with walnuts. I sell them 6 to a baggy for 50 pesos. No samples, lol.
