SAN CARLOS PHOTO ENTHUSIASTS MEETING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8 @ 8:30 AM

All shutterbugs are invited to the November 8 meeting of San Carlos Photography Enthusiasts. This month’s presentation is entitled “From Lens to Canvas.” Artist Klarita Henshel will describe her process of turning photographs into paintings.  The meeting will be held at 8:30 AM at Tequilas Restaurant & Bar located at Calle Almirante Blvd. Gabriel Estrada near Marina San Carlos.

As this is the first meeting of the 2019-20 high season, attendees are urged to share a favorite photo they’ve taken over the summer. Email the photo to rhadley8161@gmail.com by Wednesday, November 6 for inclusion in the meeting presentation.

Those attending may also bring their cameras or other gear should they have any questions about use of their equipment. With such a diverse group of members, SCPE is a great resource for getting advice and suggestions. In addition there is the opportunity to go on a short photo hike in the Marinaterra area following the meeting.

San Carlos Photography Enthusiasts is meant to be a place for all photographers to come together and exchange ideas and information. Beginners to professionals all can learn and contribute to the programs and conversation.

Learn more about SCPE on Facebook at San Carlos Photography Enthusiasts. Questions may also be directed to Rick Hadley at rhadley8161@gmail.com.

I'll be back down November 21st and will leave on December 5th.  Any meetings then?  Will be back down for the holidays.

November 22 we'll do a photo field trip. Time and place to be decided, although I'm leaning toward going out to the cordon cactus forest by Empalme...early morning...for landscape shots and maybe some bird photos. Our main December meeting is 12/13 unfortunately for you.

Oh well, wouldn't be interested in landscape or bird photography since I'm an underwater photographer. Might work out sometime.
