On Saturday, November 14th at La Palapa, you are in for finger snapping and toe tapping. The Original Wildcat Jass Band, comprised of six of the finest musicians in Arizona offer traditional New Orleans and Chicago jazz, performed in a spirit and style that is true to its musical roots.Their energetic performances are sizzling with musical energy and steeped in good humor. These "doctors of jazz" have found the cure for the blues! It's red-hot jazz, and it's contagious.

Tickets for the performance are $150 pesos and are on sale at Remax in San Carlos from 9:30 to 12:00 Monday through Friday. They will also be available at Banamex on Tuesday and Thursday at the same time.

Does this mean that the Palapa will be closed to those of us who would just like to go there for dinner?

I would assume they would be closed to anyone who doesn't have a ticket for the concert. You should buy a ticket and enjoy an amazing performance, great food and great views.

Tickets for the Original Wildcat Jass Band will be sold at the bank tomorrow and Friday from 9:30am to noon. You can also get your tickets at the RE/MAX office Monday-Friday from 9:30 to noon.

I had dinner at the Palapa last Monday. What a great location for this band! Their latest CD is called Two Deuces. I hope they play some selections from this CD.
